The seeds for Jain Community Services of Canada were planted, laying the foundation for future community support.
We established the first Jain Temple at 247 Parklawn Rd with the blessings of Acharya Sushil Muniji. This historical event was covered by major national news channels.
JCS was officially founded with the help and guidance of Bapuji Mohanlal Mehta, offering services to the community 24/7.
We moved to a new location at 48 Rosemeade Ave, expanding our reach and services.
Purchased 4.1 acres of land at 441 Ellesmere Rd to establish a 48,000 sq. ft. Jain Cultural Center.
Construction of the Shikharbandi Jain Temple began, marking a significant milestone for the community.
Plans to build 100 bachelor and one-bedroom apartments for senior citizens at 441 Ellesmere Rd are underway, ensuring future support for our elder community members.
