Our journey began in 1976, leading to the establishment of JCS in 1985. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive support to Jains across Canada.

Accommodations and Settling New Immigrants

We assist new immigrants in finding housing and adapting to life in Canada, ensuring a smooth transition.

Job Support

Our team provides assistance with job search, resume building, and interview preparation to help you find employment.

Hospital Visits and Food Delivery

We visit and deliver food to those admitted to hospitals, ensuring they have the support they need during recovery.

Financial Support for Students & Families

Providing financial assistance to students and families in need to help them overcome financial challenges.

Mental Health and Specialist Support

Access to mental health professionals and specialists for individuals and families to ensure their well-being.

Shantipath and Cremation Services

Offering Shantipath and cremation services as per Jain Vidhi, providing support during difficult times.

Feeding the Hungry or Homeless

We provide meals to those in need, including the hungry and homeless, ensuring they do not go without food.

Buy/Sell Items in Good Condition

Facilitating the buying and selling of used items in good condition to help those in need.

Matrimonial Services

JCS Matrimony and Sagapan Setu services for arranging matrimonial matches within the community.

Counseling Services

Providing counseling services for family disputes and connecting individuals with experts in the field.

Transport to Psychiatrist/Doctors

We ensure that those who are mentally challenged have access to transportation to their medical appointments.

Our History

1976

Seeds Planted

The seeds for Jain Community Services of Canada were planted, laying the foundation for future community support.

1981

First Jain Temple in Canada

We established the first Jain Temple at 247 Parklawn Rd with the blessings of Acharya Sushil Muniji. This historical event was covered by major national news channels.

1985

Jain Community Services of Canada Founded

JCS was officially founded with the help and guidance of Bapuji Mohanlal Mehta, offering services to the community 24/7.

1993

Expansion to New Location

We moved to a new location at 48 Rosemeade Ave, expanding our reach and services.

2005

New Cultural Center

Purchased 4.1 acres of land at 441 Ellesmere Rd to establish a 48,000 sq. ft. Jain Cultural Center.

2012 - 2018

Shikharbandi Jain Temple

Construction of the Shikharbandi Jain Temple began, marking a significant milestone for the community.

Future

Senior Citizens' Apartments

Plans to build 100 bachelor and one-bedroom apartments for senior citizens at 441 Ellesmere Rd are underway, ensuring future support for our elder community members.
